Hello! In 2015, after realising that medical admission support for prospective medical students, including my own son, was not at the standard it could be, I founded mbbsadmissions.co.uk. Almost a decade later, with my Partner, Dr Afrosa Ahmed, mbbsadmissionsuk has grown to include over 2000 prospective medical and dental students across the UK and internationally. We aim to address and support ALL areas of the medical admissions journey, from beginning to end, without compromising on the highest standards we hold ourselves. We are passionate about addressing educational inequalities, such that all our webinars have always been free to Widening Access students. Our webinars, UCAT tutoring and interview coaching, year on year have been hugely successful and details can be found on our website including the huge number of testimonials from our students across the world. So, just a bit about me. I have been working clinically as a GP for the last 20+ years and a Dr for over 27 years. I currently work in a number of fields encompassing Senior Leadership roles in NHS England and WTE (Workforce Training and Education). I am also South London Lead for Appraisal and Revalidation as well as a Pan London NHSE Appraiser. I was recently the Heath Equity Focused Learner Expansion Lead (South-West London ICS) and the Associate Dean Health Education England Return to Practice Scheme Lead. I led on the CAPS (Clinical Apprenticeship Placement Scheme for Refugee Doctors) and a Medical Examiner St Helier’s Hospital Surrey (sessional). I have been an Interviewer and OSCE Examiner St Georges University London and Queen Mary University London (Bart’s) and Founder and Chair of the SW London CPD Group. I also run a number of online educational platforms across the country. In my spare time (yes, I do have some!!) I love to cook and just chill with my 4 kids, husband and my wonderful friends and family. I have been honoured and privileged over the last 2 years to have had the opportunity to an Official Hajj Dr and Guide Dr for the Kingdom of Saudia Arabia (KSA) via Nusuk- the official worldwide Hajj Platform. I have always believed in the phrase “work hard- play hard” and to never give up on your dreams. At mbbsadmissionsuk, we will help you to make your dreams a reality.

Hello there, I am a junior doctor with a substantial working history which has included teaching, which I am very passionate about. During my medical degree I also founded the clinical skills society and ran regular sessions teaching my fellow and junior students important skills including communication skills. I’m now seeking to continue to do this by helping prospective medical students achieve their ambition of studying medicine. I hope to do this through personalised 1:2:1 sessions tackling any issues they feel weak on and preparing them to be ready to ace their interviews.
